Did you know that all the elements that make up the human
body can be found on the surface of the earth? The 59 elements that make up the
human body are all found on the earth’s crust. In fact, the proportion of the
availability of these elements on the earth’s surface closely matches the
percentage that they are found in the human body. This thought evoking piece of
information becomes even more amazing when one reads the following,
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of
life; and man became a living soul. – Genesis 2:7”
So, while we may not be Star Dust we certainly are Earth Dust!!!
About 70 percent of the earth’s surface is water and it is almost the same with
the human body, about 60 to 70 percent. While these may look like interesting
coincidences at first glance, upon deeper thought one can only come to the
reasonable conclusion that this is evidence of a designer. God!
Consider man! He too is a creator of certain things, for example
a watch or a computer. But can he leave signs or pieces of wisdom for the
computer or watch to realize that he is their creator? Most certainly not! But
the true Creator, God almighty has left us signs that point back to Him. In a
world where “the technology frenzy” has swallowed up mankind’s intellect and
reasoning power, there remain silent reminders like these to remind us of our Maker
and turn to Him.
